Combining history and comfort by the Bosphorus, The House Hotel is ready to welcome its guests in Ortaköy

Having opened The House Hotel Galatasaray and The House Hotel Nisantasi in 2010, The House Hotel Group continues to grow its portfolio with the third The House Hotel that just opened in Ortakoy. The hotel made its debut in May with a total of 23 guestrooms in the historical Simon Kalfa building which is centrally located and makes a strong impression with its breathtaking Bosphorus view. The building was named after the famed Balyan family known for their legacy in architectural design in the Ottoman Empire.

The design of the hotel emerged from the idea of creating the atmosphere of a palace in a historical building and a modern-luxury lifestyle with classical overtones. Doors and frames were renovated with the same wooden material by staying faithful to the original form. Covering more than 1000 square-meters, the hotel has 4 floors plus a penthouse floor. A metal-framed, special design, elegant door welcomes the guests into the entrance area where the reception desk and lobby are located. The first floor consists of guestrooms as well as The Lounge, fitness area, massage room and meeting space.

The House Hotel brand, that continues to introduce new projects in Turkey with firm steps, aims to combine the unique and magnificent Bosphorus view with comfortable, modern and luxury ambiance which still carries classical traces from the period.

PENTHOUSE SUITES WITH SPECIAL NAMES

Each of the three suites on the penthouse floor at The House Hotel Bosphorus is given special names inspired by the Balyan family and the building. These three spacious suites – Simon Kalfa, Balyan and Fescizade – are located on the fifth floor that features a wraparound terrace with a panoramic view of the Bosphorus Bridge and the historical peninsula. Simon Kalfa Suite, directly facing the Bosphorus, features a beautifully designed space where guests will enjoy the sensational view. Penthouse Suites offer classical bathtubs and jacuzzis for those who seek a more comfortable and elite experience.

Special design chandeliers, a fireplace and built-in shelves with hidden lights create a warm and comfortable atmosphere in the Lounge where guests may relax overlooking the timeless Bosphorus.
The House Hotel Bosphorus is designed by Seyhan Ozdemir and Sefer Caglar of Autoban, the internationally acclaimed and multi-award winner design firm. Throughout the hotel, Autoban’s signature materials marble, brass and walnut are used.
